What is ‘Myofascial release’?
“Myo” – means muscles
“Fascial” – means fascia (covering of muscle fibre)
This is the best technique to be used for “Myofascial Muscle Syndrome” patients. In this syndrome patient may be suffering from pain in upper limbs / lower limbs or may be whole body aches. It can be so severe that patient may go in depression because of this. But when patient undergoes any investigation like X-Ray or MRI nothing comes out. In this muscle start adhering to its covering called fascia which starts giving local or radiating pain. With this technique we release the muscle from fascia so that muscle can perform its action without pain.
